Sharing microjoys, the films that made me cry, a non-lettuce salad recipe, counteracting microplastics, and more...

We have been back in Vermont for over a week and my first instinct when I started writing today’s newsletter was to talk about how much I’m loathing it. March and April are always the hardest months in Vermont (for reasons I won’t get into now). Instead, I wanted to share some of my microjoys, because the world is depressing enough, and it’s amazing how leaning into the joy of the little things can really help with some of the doom and gloom of it all. So before we get into this week’s CRL, here are a few of the things making me happy right now, I hope you’ll share yours in the comments too.
Microjoys…
The 30 minute meditation class I take on Thursdays
Making tea everyday (with loose leaf tea)
Planning our summer garden (flowers, veggies, fruits, herbs)
Wearing bright colors (currently in a red turtleneck)
Coffee dates with friends
Making a photo album from our trip to Florida
This Boston based reggae band Craig discovered (sounds like summer)
The knowledge that spring is in 13 days 🌷
