Hello and welcome to all my new paid subscribers. You are quite literally, the reason I’m able to write this newsletter. I went from making well into the 6 figures influencing for 10 years, to making about $22k on this newsletter last year. It’s not my sole source of income, I also freelance, and I’m launching a cold-pressed juice business (with very little capital investment). But the money I make from this newsletter is not nothing, and I’m super honored and grateful that you’ve decided to support my work.

There’s a lot of people who would say I’m insane to walk away from the amount of money I made as an influencer (especially in a culture dominated by the pursuit of wealth at all costs). But the truth is, money can’t buy integrity, and the longer I stayed in that industry, the less I felt I had.

Maybe my story isn’t the sexiest, walking away from hundreds of thousands of dollars, tons of perks, and lots of free stuff to live a life that’s focused on buying less, being present, enjoying life’s simple pleasures, and living in alignment with my values. But I still think it’s an important story to tell, because right now the world is full of greed and exploitation, and it’s more important than ever to show how we can do things differently. At the end of the day, I can sleep at night knowing whatever I may be sacrificing, it’s not my integrity.

The only way I monetize this newsletter is with paid subscriptions. No ads, no affiliate links. Please consider upgrading your subscription to access the rest of this newsletter and all of my work. Thank you!
