Things I'm Excited To Wear For Spring

As snow piles up outside (after getting two feet a week ago) I can’t help but feel a bit forlorn. It’s April. I’m over it. And while I would love to believe I’ll be wearing light dresses and tank tops soon, I know how this works, it’s gonna be a while.

The weather this time of year can take a toll. You can see it on everyone’s face. Winter is long, and there’s a collective tightness in our bodies that we’re all ready to let go. I’ve been using my wardrobe as a way to squeeze a little joy into my routine (will share some recent outfits this weekend). When you go days without sunshine, every little thing counts.

I also go into my closet fairly regularly and peruse through my dresses, sandals, and t-shirts. “I'll be seeing you soon,” I say to myself, while I run my hand down a cotton dress trying to remember what it feels like when it’s warm outside.

For those of you in climates where it actually feels like spring, good for you. For the rest of us, hang in there, it won’t be long before we’re complaining about it being too hot.
